The school has four days covering different subject areas of modern supercomputing, including hands-on experience and special lectures by invited speakers.

This is the preliminary programme:

Day 1: Basics of Modern Supercomputing and Quantum Computing

  • LEXIS Distributed Computing Platform and its use cases
  • Hands-On Exercise: Automatizing Data-Heavy Workflows

Day 3: AI and Running Multiple Parallel Jobs

  • Basics of Artificial Intelligence - Training and Inference
  • Running Parallel Workloads with HyperQueue
  • Hands-on Exercise: HyperQueue and AI Workloads
  • Outing

Day 4: AI and Extension Topics

  • AI: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with Hands-On Components
  • Resume on the Complex HPC Application (Day 2) with Hands-On Parts and FAIR Research Data Management in Supercomputing
  • Summary, Announcements and Farewell
